Cancer Prevention Touch Screen for Underserved Hispanics
In 2002, a team of Fred Hutch investigators wanted to assess the feasibility of using web technology to encourage cancer
preventive behaviors among Hispanic immigrants. The team asked inHealth to generate a design concept to enhance their
proposal.
Our plan for a touch-screen website included features that addressed the characteristics of this underserved population.
For example, our design concentrated on graphic elements to ensure low-literacy users could participate.
